Suite D. João, inspired by the Portuguese “joanino” baroque style, is spacious and is adorned with wood carvings, beautiful tiles and stuccos. The suite can be made up as a double or a twin and demanding guests will be pleased to know that the bed linen is the best quality satin cotton and there is a choice of three pillows.  Each of the apartments has a living and dining area as well as a fully-equipped kitchenette giving you total independence during your stay in Lisbon.  Suite D.ª Maria is larger and decorated in a Neoclassical style celebrating Queen D Maria I.  Decorative paintings and antiques, original high ceilings and simple lines make this the perfect base for a long weekend or mid-week break in Lisbon. Last, but by no means least is Suite D. Manuel,  named after D. Manuel I who was born in 1469 and reigned from 1495 to 1521. The use and combination of floral motifs, animals and elements used in day-to-day activities by the Portuguese navigators, such as ropes and anchors, resulted in a style known as “Manuelino” that is has inspired many famous interior decorators around the world. All of the apartments can sleep up to 3 people with the addition of an extra bed or use of the sofa bed.
