Being just 20 minutes from Montego Bay Pimento Hill House is extremely accessible and with complimentary beach membership at Round Hill and Tyrall Golf Club less than 10 minutes away you really do have the best of both worlds. Venturing out is easy with the complimentary driver and minibus included in the villa's rate available 24/7. Pimento Hill House was originally built for a French Count and Countess in the 1950s and its guests include Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Ella Fitzgerald, John Wayne, Sidney Poitier to name a few. Recently bought and renovated by an English couple who fell head over heels with it, Pimento Hill house is without doubt one of the best luxury villas in Jamaica.

Accommodation

What we love about Pimento Hill House is the flexibility that the accommodation has to offer. Although in total there are 6 en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms (2 are interconnecting), guests can choose to take as little as 3 rooms for their stay. Cots are of course available and 4 of the double rooms have the option of being twin rooms. The master bedroom is a magnificent suite with 2 dressing rooms and 2 sumptuous and recently refurbished bathrooms with walk-in showers and a Jacuzzi bath. The bedroom opens onto the garden with sea views, and to a private area where eye-opener coffee miraculously appears early each morning. One dressing room has two twin beds for children and the second has a daybed for another child if needed. Both the children’s room and the dressing room have their own en-suite bathroom. The Pool Cottages, featuring two bedrooms, can be found along a path through the shaded water garden on the pool deck. All of the rooms have flat screen TVs with cable.

Activities

Pimento Hill’s 6 acres are full of mango, orange, grapefruit, breadfruit, lime and avocado and with immaculately kept large lawns children will love running around and picking fruits. Guests at Pimento Hill enjoy a complimentary beach membership at the chic Round Hill Hotel just 5 minutes away and membership at the Tyrall golf club which is only 10 minutes by car. Round Hill membership includes: complimentary beach, tennis, gym, heated pools for parents & children, jogging trail. For an additional charge you can enjoy tennis lessons, hair salon & spa. Many guests just prefer to enjoy the view and enjoy freshly made smoothies and refreshing cocktails by the pool. Children will be pleased to know that there is table tennis and a pool table as well as a Play Station 3 with a great selection of games.

Dining

If you can drag yourself away from the large swimming pool (which gets all-day sun), you can enjoy a drink at the copper bar or lunch on the adjacent terrace with its shaded sitting area. All meals during your stay can be provided by the talented cook and butler - you simply pay them directly for the cost of the food. You can choose between having your meals overlooking the sea or in the dining room under the antique chandelier.

Rates

Rates at Pimento Hill House are per week and include a team of 7 staff, beach club membership at Round Hill 5 minutes away. Shorter stays can be accepted and are charged on a pro-rata basis.
