About this Chic Retreat
Alegria is luxury B&B set in a charming manor house surrounded by olive trees in the heart of Provence. The concept and philsophy at Alegria is based on a simple formula where the owners and hosts really look after you on an individual basis, their passion for their B&B is contagious and it doesn't take long to see why. They have thought of everything from fresh orchids in the rooms to the latest magazines, carefully rolled towels and delicious food. This little chic retreat is situated in the small charming village of Aups, renowned in France for its weekly truffle market, olive oil, honey, wine and goat cheese.
Accommodation
Guests have a choice of 5 rooms and suites at Alegria, all very cosy and stylish. Each of the en-suite rooms have lovely comfortable beds and soft furnishings in soft neutral colours. The bathrooms are spacious and have separate loos whilst the suite also features a bath. All of the rooms have access to a private garden as well as a shared terrace and the suite enjoys its own sunbathing terrace.
Activities
Enjoy reading your favourite booking in the hammock under the olive tree or if you really want to be a local have a game of petanque accompanied by a glass of pastis. Insider Alegria there is a sitting room with TV, library of books and a selection of international magazines to flick through. Provence, particularly the verdant hills of the Var region, is a magical place and there are many unspoilt towns and villages to enjoy and explore during your stay. The village of Aups is on the wine and truffle route and is a focal point in the ‘Parc Naturel du Haut Var’, a protected natural park with an enviable micro-climate and exceptional fauna and flora.
Dining
Table d'hotes is served once a week during the high season for a minimum of 6 people.
Rates
Rates are per room per night including breakfast, but please note that from the 30th of June 2012 until the 1st of September 2012 we rent our rooms and our suites on a weekly basis (from Saturday til Saturday). In low season counts a minimum stay of 2 nights. Children up to 2 years stay for free and children over 2 (to 14 years) are charged EUR 30 per night.

Cancellation policy
- From 60 days - 30 days before departure: 40% of the total price.
- From 30 days - 15 days before departure: 70% of the total price.
- From 15 days – 1 day before departure: 90% of the total price.No show: 100% of the total price.
- Early departure: 100% of the nights stayed at Alegria, 90% of the other booked nights .
