About this Chic Retreat
Allegra is a luxury villa surrounded by the hills and vineyards of Tuscany, just 25 minutes from Siena. This elegant chic retreat is the perfect hideaway for families and friends wanting exclusivity, independence and privacy. This luxury villa has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms spread across the main villa, guest house and wing, lovely gardens, inside and outside dining and private swimming pool. The main villa has two large living rooms, one with a fire place, library, dining area and kitchen with a traditional wood-burning oven. La Ginestra (the wing) has a small kitchenette and breakfast table and La Vigna (guesthouse) features a cozy living room with kitchenette and dining table.
Accommodation
The 6 rooms at Allegra are spread across the Main Villa, La Ginestra and La Vigna. The Main Villa is home to 1 en-suite king bedroom and 1 queen bedroom with its own bathroom with shower. La Ginestra has 1 master en-suite queen bedroom and another en-suite queen bedroom. La Vigna is the guest house and has 1 master queen bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and 1 queen bedroom with private bathroom with shower. Smaller groups can rent the main villa without the guest house. Air-conditioning is standard in all of the rooms and Internet is available with rechargeable wireless key card (hot-spots), dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, satellite TVs, DVD, CD player, telephone/fax, fireplaces, library, window screens in most rooms.
Activities
Just 25 minutes from the stunning city of Siena, Allegra is the perfect base from which to explore this fine city, Florence and many of the most famous Tuscan towns and villages. Chianti's must-sees include the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. Along the road visit the Badia di Coltibuono and/or Castello di Brolio not forgetting to pick up some wine to enjoy at the villa! Montalcino isn't too far away and has some fantastic wines and along the road some freshly produced Pecorino (sheeps cheese) which is delicious with a glass of Rosso di Montalcino. You might also like to visit San Gimignano, famous for its skyline (though sadly a little too touristy these days).
Dining
Guests can enjoy fine Tuscan cuisine prepared by the owner who is a culinary expert and cooking classes and are available for guests to learn to create their own culinary masterpieces once at home. For an authentic meal out try Osteria Le Logge which serves authentic Tuscan cuisine and mouth-watering home-made pasta. The best tables are on the ground floor and during the warmer months there is outdoor seating.
Rates
Rates at Allegra are per villa per week. WiFi is available but is extra. Water and final clean are included;
- Electricity and A/C included up to 250 kW per week per 12 pax and up to 200 kW per week per 8 pax (any extra is €0.42 per kW)
- Water and final cleaning included
- Heating not included. Gas heat approximately €60 per day for main villa, €90 for whole property. If electrical heaters are used in bedrooms and bathrooms, an additional €100 on average will be charged per week
- Telephone charges extra

- Tuscan dinner or lunch (no table service): €40 per person (includes wine) Optional morning

Cancellation policy
Booking Procedures & Payments: Bookings are considered valid upon receipt within 5 (five) working days of NON-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount; Only after receiving the initial deposit will you be sent the Confirmation Invoice. The final balance must be paid sixty days prior to arrival. If booking is made within 60 days prior the rental date the entire contract price is due at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy:
- The 50% initial deposit is NON refundable.
- A 75% cancellation policy of the net rate applies on reservations cancelled 45 -31 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
- 100% cancellation policy of the net rate applies on reservations cancelled 30 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date.
