Bishopstrow House and Spa is one of the finest luxury hotels in Wiltshire and possibly one of the best luxury hotels in the UK. Boasting an indoor and an outdoor pool (both heated), the stress-busting Halcyon Spa and stunning new Mulberry restaurant this country house hotel is a dream for all seasons. Following the recent refurbishment of many of the rooms, the interiors have been decorated to the highest standard with stunning designer wallpapers, beautiful antiques and luxurious fabrics. Welcoming touches include fresh flowers and fruit in all of the rooms on arrival.

Accommodation

Most of the 32 bedrooms at Bishopstrow House have now been refurbished making it one of the most sought after luxury hotels in the UK. All of the rooms at Bishopstrow have their own style, many with a contemporary twist on the traditional and guests can now enjoy extras such as flowers and fresh fruit in their room on arrival. The garden wing rooms are some of our favourites as they are very spacious and have direct access on to the grounds. If budget allows book The Shaftesbury Suite, which has a downstairs sitting room, spacious bedroom and large bathroom with roll top bath and double shower.

Activities

The Halcyon Spa at Bishopstrow House provides guests with a complete spa experience using the range of Elemis products. There are thermal treatment rooms, wet spa treatments and for those wanting to keep up their exercise, a fitness suite. The acres of gardens at Bishopstrow are perfect for some typically British activities such as Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery. Children can enjoy high teas, a dip in the pool or a trip to nearby Longleat House and Safari Park.

Dining

The new Mulberry Restaurant at Bishopstrow has been completed providing a really comfortable and stylish dining space around the new conservatory and terrace, ideal for the warmer days. The talented Chefs at Bishopstrow use only the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, to create imaginative modern English cuisine. High teas are served every day for children and there are specially created children menus.
